"My wife and I enjoy the creativity of the custom house building process and we had the opportunity to create a Provence house on a substantial (for OC) property. Our design process involved several trips to France and many design meetings particularly, with the landscape architect. We engaged Mark in many of those design meetings where he developed a close understanding of our goals and the architects' (building, landscape and interior) desires. When it came time to execute in the field Mark not only demonstrated considerable expertise at selecting and managing the subcontractors, he exhibited unusual passion for finding better ways to create value in the building itself, and more importantly, the purity of the design intent.  My experience is that tight budget control and high quality execution is only really ever achieved by high functioning teams, and Mark played  a pivotal role in that regard."
